Preface

Sometimes, a person’s mind can be filled with numerous thoughts, and the information received through the eyes and ears can trigger tens of thousands of reactions in the brain, leaving the most satisfying and profound impressions imprinted in the mind. Thus, one begins to ponder repeatedly, exploring their origins exhaustively. After careful scrutiny, from every angle, no complete element is ultimately derived.

We have reason to believe that the most primitive natural laws unfold in the ocean, where ruthless predators dominate everything within their respective domains, and the methods of predation are simpler than anything else. Perhaps, scents spread faster and farther in the ocean, and battles often transcend the two-dimensional pursuit, evolving into three-dimensional strategizing. In the human imagination of the two-dimensional world, various fantastic mechas or mythical beasts engage in thrilling three-dimensional battles. As a result, they possess greater abilities and higher intelligence. However, in reality, all of this occurs in the ocean. There are giant creatures, highly intelligent beings, creatures of various shapes and abilities, and even animals living by adopting plant-like survival methods. The ocean has given rise to various evolutionary animals and nurtured a plethora of life forms. The next highly intelligent species is highly likely to emerge within the ocean, or perhaps it already has.

The marvel of Atlantis may not have perished in the ocean; perhaps it hasn’t perished at all, as only the ocean can continue to sustain vast life forms. We can observe that the world within the ocean is precisely the fantasy of the future world for people. They live in stratified layers, without interfering with each other. Some places are never touched by sunlight yet still thrive peacefully. Therefore, I believe that the advanced means of transportation in the future will likely resemble the shape of fish – streamlined for minimal resistance, requiring less energy for movement, and facilitating easy mobility.

The ocean possesses everything that the land does. Evolving from the ocean to land is a form of evolution, but when the sea levels rise unrestrictedly, I believe that reverting to the ocean for continued living would be a more superior evolution.

In the ocean, people will not lack water, nor will they use electronics, nor will they generate polluting substances. The mode of operation for people will transition from two-dimensional to three-dimensional. Breathing will intake less oxygen, so the skin and various organs will age more slowly, much like most fish. Perhaps human lifespan will be longer. From this, we can deduce that the future appearance of humans may evolve fish tails and fins. Possessing high intelligence, humans will move swiftly in the ocean, possibly even domesticate a large number of marine predators, commanding them through ultrasound. Future weapons might also approach the likes of sonic power, utilizing the tidal energy of the ocean, providing an endless power source. Perhaps magma will replace the sun. As a natural force generated by Earth’s movements, humans may have the ability to harness and utilize it.

Whales, as highly intelligent mammals, did not capitalize on their immense size advantage to conquer the land during their evolution. Instead, they chose to adapt to the marine environment for survival. Thus, we have reason to question whether the transition from the ocean to land is an evolutionary behavior or merely a survival dictate.
